Main objects of the company to be pursued
by the company on its incorporation are:
To carry on the business of making, assembling, buying, selling,
reselling, exchanging, altering, importing, exporting, hiring, letting on hire,
distributing, or dealing in ships, tankers travelers, boats, barge, launches, sub-marines
and other under water vessels, aero engines, airships, seaplanes, flying boats and
aerial conveyance of every description and kind for transport or conveyances of
passengers, merchandise or goods of every description whether propelled or assisted
by means of petrol, spirit, electricity, steam, oil vapour gas, petroleum, mechanical,
animal or any other motive power and all component parts, accessories, equipments
and apparatus for use in connection therewith.
Objects inciental or ancillary to the attainment of the main objects:
To undertake and carry on all or any of the trades and businesses
of shippers, ship owners, ship brokers, ship agents, underwriters, ship managers,
tug owners, shipping agents, insurance brokers, loading brokers, freight brokers,
freight contractors, carriers of goods and passengers, transport hamiage and general
contractors, barge owners, lightermen, railway and forwarding agents, activities
involved in dock and ship management, manufactures and dealer in ropes, tarpaulins,
waterproofs, machinery, engines, nautical instruments, ship rigging, gears, all
types of life saving appliances, fittings and equipments of heavy description, importers
of ship and machine equipments of all descriptions and dealers in provisions, live
and dead stock, between such ports and places in any part of the world as the company
may from time to time decide and to establish and maintain lines of steam and other
ships between any ports, countries or places which may seem to the company expedient
and to acquire any coastal business.
